— 01Does MaisonFlow actually satisfy the EU AML Regulation 2024/1624?+

Yes. Our Compliance module is built directly against Articles 16–22 (customer due diligence), Article 50 (record-keeping) and Article 69 (reporting). We retain documentation for the statutory five years, exportable in regulator-formatted PDF or JSON.

— 02Where is our data held — and who can see it?+

All boutique data is held in Switzerland (Equinix ZH4, Zurich) with EU-resident replicas in Frankfurt. Switzerland holds an EU adequacy decision under GDPR, and we operate under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). Only your team sees your data — full stop.

— 03Switzerland is not in the EU — does Swiss storage satisfy our GDPR obligations?+

Yes. The European Commission has granted Switzerland an adequacy decision under GDPR, meaning Swiss-resident data is treated as offering equivalent protection to EU-resident storage. Your obligations as a data controller are met under both GDPR and nFADP through this framework. We hold replicas in Frankfurt (EU) for resilience, and customer records never leave the CH/EU/EEA zone.

— 04How does the early-access programme work?+

We accept twelve maisons per quarter. You receive a personal onboarding with the founder, lifetime price-lock at the Maison tier, and a direct line to engineering. There is no public roadmap; there is a quarterly letter.

— 05Can we export everything for an unannounced audit — or give a regulator direct access?+

Yes to both. The 'Audit Brief' button generates a regulator-ready PDF within ninety seconds, covering every CDD record, attendance log, cash reconciliation and SOP acknowledgement across whatever date range you specify. For on-site inspections requiring live access, the Atelier tier includes a read-only auditor login that can be provisioned and revoked in under two minutes. On Essentiel and Maison, the PDF export covers the same scope.

— 06Does MaisonFlow replace our POS or inventory system?+

No — it sits alongside them. MaisonFlow covers AML compliance, staff attendance, cash reconciliation, daily operating routines and audit trails: the compliance and people layer that retail ERPs do not address. We pull transaction data from your existing system via integrations, so there is no duplicate entry.

— 07Do you integrate with our existing POS and inventory?+

We integrate with Cegid Retail, Lightspeed, Cybex and most ERP middleware via REST or SFTP. For bespoke or proprietary stacks, the Atelier tier includes a custom integration sprint, billed at cost.

— 08What does implementation actually look like?+

Two weeks for a single boutique; six for a group of ten. We send a compliance lead to each location for one day of training. Your floor staff are productive on the app within a single shift — we have measured this.

— 09Is there a trial? Can we cancel — and what happens to our data?+

A 30-day pilot with full functionality and no card required. Annual plans cancel with 60 days' notice; monthly with 30. If you leave, a full data export is made available immediately — every CDD record, attendance log, cash entry and audit trail, in Excel and regulator-ready PDF. We retain nothing after 30 days. No hostage data.

MaisonFlow was built by a Business Solutions Developer working inside a major Geneva luxury group, who saw the compliance gap firsthand while building internal tools used across multiple markets. Engineering and design are based in Geneva and London.
